A visit to St Chad's Church in Handforth
Year 1 visited the local church as part of their Religious Education.
They learned about the Christian faith. Mr Armstrong spoke about the history of the church and what one might find there.
All the different parts of the church were shown to them. Some children wore some of the vestments.
The children looked at every aspect of the building.
Some children had a go at giving a sermon!
One child played the church organ though.
