The Oaklands Staff

This is our head teacher, Mrs Janet Ciaputa, who is responsible for the high quality of education your child will receive at this school. She does not have a teaching commitment but shares her knowledge and expertise in all the classes. Mrs Ciaputal also has responsibility for pastoral care, personnel management, child protection and professional development.

Mrs Louise Fletcher is our  Deputy Head teacher. Her curriculum responsibilities involve coordinating mathematics and assessment. Miss Hall also has responsibility for pastoral care, personnel management, child protection and professional development. She will be in Class 4 with Year 1/2.

Mrs Gillian Johnson is a senior teacher who is part of the Senior Management Team. She has a Year 1/2 class in room 1. As well as her responsibilities for coordinating Religious Education, Mrs Johnson is the editor of the website.

Mrs Julie Hadfield joined us last year and will be the class teacher for the shared Year 1/2 in Class 3. Her subject leadership is in Design and Technology.

Ms Helen Wright is the art subject leader as well as teaching duties with her Year R class. Ms Wright is also a ceramic artist at the Longden Studios in Macclesfield.

Ms Joanne Bromley teaches Class 3 which is a Year 1/2 class in room 5. She joined Dean Oaks Infant department in September 2008.

Mrs Rachel Gough is the teacher covering staff PPA time this year. She will teaching Year 1, 2, 3 and 4 children this year. Mrs Gough will be in charge of music and singing practice for the whole school.

Mrs Leah Robson is our classroom assistant for Year 1/2. She works with all the Infant children.

Mrs Barbara Hardy is our other much valued teaching assistant with N.N.E.B. qualifications. She works mainly in Reception.
