Year 2 visit the local library

Gill, the senior children's librarian, introduced herself and told us all about the library services. We all enjoyed the story by Tony Ross called 'Don't do that !'

Everybody had to play an eye-spy game around the library. We looked for the itmes in the library that were not books.

We could select a book from the children's section and use our new tickets to borrow it for 3 weeks.

Even reading the newspaper was part of our visit!
